Washburn-Durrant Professional Development Funding Application

The Sport Management program is excited to announce a call for applications to the Washburn-Durrant Sport Management Professional Development Fund. Awarded funds must be utilized during the academic term of the award.

The purpose of the Washburn-Durrant Sport Management Professional Development Fund is to support the participation of Washington State University sport management students in outstanding activities and opportunities that enhance their academic and professional development.

Examples of activities that may be funded include but are not limited to: (a) attendance at conferences, fairs, workshops, or seminars; (b) participation in unique and high-profile professional or internship opportunities (not including SpMgt 491) (e.g., with large-scale events, international or otherwise exceptional organizations); (c) organization of conferences, fairs, workshops, or seminars. Funds will not be awarded to class projects but may be awarded to activities pursued by relevant Registered Student Organizations, subject to the restrictions outlined in the uses and purposes of the fund.

Interested students or student groups should identify a Sport Management faculty sponsor who will support the application.
