LEAD Scholars Program Scholarship Application

LEAD Scholars Program Scholarship Application

The LEAD Scholars Program is a statewide leadership development initiative that supports practicing educators who are preparing to earn their principal or program administrator certification at Washington State University. Through a partnership with Vancouver Public Schools, Pasco School District, and Spokane Public Schools, the program provides a unique pathway for educators in these districts committed to fostering inclusive and thriving school communities.

With generous funding from College Spark of Washington, each selected LEAD Scholar receives a $6,800 scholarship to offset tuition costs, along with mentoring, leadership workshops, and additional support for statewide convenings. One recipient will receive an additional $2000 scholarship, courtesy of the Education LEAD Scholarship funded through the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences.

Scholarships are awarded to educators who demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to student success, and a dedication to serving diverse school communities across Washington.

We welcome applications from educators across all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Selection is not based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or any other protected characteristic, in full compliance with federal and state civil rights laws.
