Tri-Cities/Vancouver Middle-Level Math (MLM) Endorsement
Middle-Level Mathematics Add-On Endorsement
Washington State University’s Middle Level Math Endorsement program is designed for new (including teacher candidates) and experienced teachers who wish to add an additional endorsement or expertise in middle level mathematics to their current certification.
The program is offered for two campus groups across the WSU system. This is the info for WSU Tri-Cities and WSU Vancouver.

- ** TCH_LRN 352 or MATH 330 or equivalent methods course is a prerequisite for enrollment in TCH_LRN 433/533.
- MATH 106 (or equivalent) and MATH 251/252 are strongly recommended for enrollment in all MLM Endorsement courses.
- All courses are 3 credits.
- All Fall and Spring courses are taught in the evenings, usually on Tuesday or Thursday from 4:20-7:00.
- Summer courses are usually offered in a 6-week session:
- First Summer Session (early-May to mid-June): MATH 303
- Second Summer Session (mid-June to late-July): TCH_LRN 463/563
- Courses can originate out of the Vancouver, Tri-Cities, or Pullman campuses.

This pathway allows students to finish on time and student teach during Spring of Senior Year with all courses taken.
