Umehara Sensei is excited to start his 2nd semester as a bowling instructor. He was born and raised in Chiba, Japan before transitioning his living environment to the U.S. Working as an instructor for the KIN_ACTV program has helped him get one step closer to his dream of becoming an educator that each student can look up to. His dream of becoming a teacher has never changed since he was young. He loves to teach. He served as an Assistant Director (Midsummer Night’s Dream, 2019), Stage Manager (2020), Teaching Assistant (2019-2020) at Bellevue High School, and Short-Play director (2021) at Western Washington University.
