Content Exam
Content Exam
Washington state requires that all prospective teachers show proficiency in their respective content area(s).
That proficiency is measured by either the Washington Educator Skills Test – Endorsements (WEST-E), or the National Evaluation Series (NES) test, depending on the subject area. Candidates may register for either of these tests through the WEST website.
Washington State University offers on-site proctoring once a semester for the Avant STAMP 4S exam on the Pullman campus through the School of Languages, Cultures, and Race. This 4S STAMP exam will fulfill the requirement for both the Designated World Language (DWL) endorsement and students majoring or minoring in a foreign language at WSU.
Tri-Cities offers an on-site proctored exam. Contact [1] Dr. Eric Johnson for additional information.
