Master in Teaching Graduate Poster Session
Master in Teaching (MIT) Graduate Poster Showcase
The Master in Teaching (MIT) program is a rigorous, school-centered, and mentor-supported pathway for aspiring educators. Designed to cultivate reflective, effective, and culturally responsive teachers, the program emphasizes the integration of educational research into professional practice.
As a culminating experience, MIT candidates complete an inquiry project—a personalized exploration of a teaching practice, concept, or issue grounded in the Washington Teacher Evaluation Framework. These projects reflect each student’s unique journey and commitment to continuous learning.
Each year, graduating MIT students present their inquiry projects to faculty and peers, showcasing their research, insights, and contributions to the field of education. This site features poster presentations from recent cohorts and celebrates the innovative work of future educators.
