Biography

Tricia Benton serves as the Program Coordinator for the Field Services and Certification office in the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences. A proud graduate of Washington State University, she holds a degree in Child, Consumer, and Family Studies (Human Development).

Before returning to her alma mater, Tricia spent 14 years in public education as a paraprofessional, where she developed a strong appreciation for supporting both students and educators. She is passionate about guiding future teachers through their field experiences and certification journey, and values the opportunity to give back to the university that helped shape her path.

Tricia is married to fellow Coug alum John, and they are the proud parents of two WSU graduates, Grady and Kelsi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including their beloved Bernedoodle, Vinnie.
