Biography

Trang has been part of WSU since 2015 and joined the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences in August 2023. She majored in French during her undergraduate studies and worked as a teacher and interpreter before moving to the United States in 2006. In 2017, she earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration and recently passed the CRA/RACC exam, becoming a Certified Research Administrator.

Before joining the college, Trang served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Budget at the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health. Her team received the 2019 Pioneer Award for their outstanding efforts in grant and contract administration, both locally and internationally within the WSU system.

Trang is married to Nikolaos, who is a professor in the Math department. They previously lived in the Bay Area before relocating to Washington state in 2012. They are proud parents of two daughters, Agapi and Konstantina. In their free time, they enjoy visiting Greece or Vietnam to catch up with family and friends while indulging in the stunning beaches and delicious cuisine.
